In Christ Fellowship …
My prayer is not for these alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.  —John 17:20-21, NIV

The purpose of this ministry is to proclaim, and help realize by all means possible, the fulfillment of Jesus' prayer in the Upper Room, quoted just above. After first praying for himself and then for the apostles present, he prayed that those of us who believe "their message" would experience such a oneness with Him and the Father that "the world" would believe that the Father had sent Him!

We believe:

 · that this prayer has been fulfilled spiritually—all “in Christ” are one;
 · that the words “their message” refer to a single message;
 · that the unity that will convince the world awaits agreement among believers on what is meant by the words “their message,”
 · that the Father will answer this, the most urgent prayer his Son prayed for us;
 · that the unity John foresaw in Revelation 7:9 will occur on earth—the world won’t need to be convinced after Jesus comes;
 · that this balanced, biblically sound, and experientially realizable message is clearly revealed in the Scriptures; and
 · that nothing taught by the 33,830 “Christian” groups that is biblically-sound needs to be changed for them to believe, adjust to, and proclaim this unifying, world-convincing message.

   We propose:

 · inviting those from all cultures, races, and religions to be “in Christ”; encouraging them to remain in their peer groups as witnesses for Christ when possible;
 · sponsoring the formation of local groups of those “in Christ” or who desire to be, for evangelism, fellowship, worship, discipleship, witness, and service to others;
 · that all evangelical groups change only those non-biblical beliefs that potentially jeopardize the salvation of their adherents or others; and
 · that all the above be done within a minimal human structure, for the Glory of God.

We know:

 · that believing and proposing is not enough: that nothing will happen to realize this vision of world-convincing unity of God’s people without action; and
 · that if He so leads, you can become a channel for God’s amazing grace to flow to others!

 We hope:

 · that if you will prayerfully read the article, We Are One—“In Christ”!, the Lord will let you know whether you should act further in fulfilling this vision; and
 · that you will proceed to learn more about ways to fulfill God’s purpose for your life by reading other articles of your choice.
